About Kova
Why it exists
Existing tools each cover part of the job. A chatbot can summarise a slide deck, but it doesn't keep track of what you've studied or plan your review. A flashcard app schedules review well, but you write every card yourself. And neither points back to the slide a card came from, so checking something means digging through the lecture again.
Kova does the whole loop in one place, starting from your own course material: a study guide, flashcards that cite their slide or page, practice quizzes and timed practice exams written from your lectures, answers to your questions that cite the page, and review that brings everything you've studied back by the morning of your exam.
What it isn't
Kova isn't an essay writer and it isn't a replacement for going to lectures. It works from what you give it, and it's meant to help you remember your course, not to do graded work for you.
How it's paid for
Kova is paid for by Pro subscriptions, not ads. Your course material isn't sold and isn't used to train AI models. The privacy policy spells out exactly what's stored and who processes it.
